JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a support assistant, your mission is to provide support that promotes self-determination, participation, and good living conditions. You work based on the individual's needs and rights, with respect for integrity and a focus on a good and safe life. You will work closely with the tenants and provide individual support in their daily lives. You will be involved in designing implementation plans, creating structure and clarity in everyday life, and using methods such as low-arousal responses and clear pedagogical approaches. You document according to applicable laws and guidelines and collaborate with relatives, colleagues, and other professionals.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with relevant education and experience in care and support, as well as good knowledge of LSS and its values. You have experience and knowledge in low-arousal responses, clear pedagogical approaches, and alternative and augmentative communication (AAC), and preferably also motivational interviewing (MI). You are self-assured, empathetic, and have the ability to build good relationships. You can work both independently and in a team, are flexible and solution-oriented, and have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written forms.
